Australasia, a region of Oceania, comprises Australia, New Zealand, the island of New Guinea, and neighbouring islands in the Pacific Ocean. Australia is the world's 6th largest country by area. Due to its large size and isolation from the rest of the world,Australia is sometimes known as the 'island continent'.

Australia is home to some creatures that are found nowhere else, including some of the world’s most deadly. We will, perhaps, give some of those a miss.
