Central Railway Station.The original Sydney station was opened in 1855 in an area known as Cleveland Fields. The current station was built in 1906

It was not long before travelers could fly into Sydney. A 10 day service costing more than an average annual salary. Tourist flights still operate from Rose Bay.

The ladies of the day needed somewhere to shop so in 1892 'The Strand' arcade opened.
